In 20 years this energetic and charming man has created a multi-million empire from one of the top selling names in the fashion and perfume buisness. After emigrating to California in the 1980s, Bijan Pakzad has emerged as one of the success stories of the American-Iranian community. 'I dress a small elite,' Bijan says proudly. 'Maybe one-tenth of the 1percent richest men on the globe.' His customers have included Roger Moore, Ronald Reagan, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Michael Jordan, Prince Charles to name a few. His 'Bijan' perfume used by women like Hillary Clinton, Bo Derek and Sharon Stone ranks next to Calvin Klein and Coco Chanel.
Bijan's secret:hard work and attention to detail. 'I listen to my customers,' he says. 'I give them quality service and the Bijan touch.' The Bijan boutiques can be found in Rodeo Drive in Beverley Hills or New York's Fifth Avenue but his products and talent have become an international phenomenon.
